Thank you for interest in mental health peer support and services at MHRP!

If you are keen to learn something new and different, please join us in our new programs starting next week.

Funding for our initiatives has been made possible through the generous support of the Federal Government’s Emergency Community Support Fund distributed by United Way Greater Victoria, which supports the delivery of interventions to vulnerable Canadians impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

All services are free, thanks to our funders, and you are welcome to join if you are residing in the South Vancouver Island area and southern gulf islands. We are looking forward to sharing the good news of recovery from a mental health perspective as aligns with the work of the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) and as developed by a long and proud history of those living with mental health recovery journeys. We are working from a philosophy of recovery as a journey not a destination. We are an inclusive environment. All space is to be kind, welcoming and safe. As with any shared public space, only share what you are comfortable with in a group setting. If you have thoughts, ideas, concerns, please let us know by calling 250-384-4225 or emailing us at  and one of our team will be glad to respond.

As always, if you are struggling and need immediate help, please contact the crisis line The Vancouver Island Crisis Society – Vancouver Island Crisis Society ( or if immediate emergency please call 911. We do offer WRAP groups regularly if you are thinking you would like to personalize a relapse prevention and recovery plan (includes developing a personalized crisis plan).

For now, our programs are scheduled for January and February (please look at our event/upcoming event tab for details). We are looking forward to meeting you and exploring recovery together. 1:1 peer support is offered. Contact our Peer Support Coordination for assistance.
