WRAP – Wellness Recovery Action Plan. An educational course where you develop your own wellness plan. WRAP is for everyone!
Programs for family and friends of someone experiencing mental illness
(due to COVID-19 precautions all moving to virtual services)
If you have a family member or loved one experiencing a mental illness, and you could use some support, call our family counsellor Carina to schedule a virtual appointment 236-638-1972. Carina works Tuesday-Thursday 10-4. This is not an emergency service. If there is an emergency call the crisis line at 1‑888-494-3888 or 911 or go to the Royal Jubilee Hospital.
Family Counselling – short-term counselling for people with a family member experiencing mental illness.
Family Peer Support– confidential 1:1 contact with someone who has supported a family member with a mental illness.
Support Groups – monthly support groups for the family and friends of someone experiencing mental illness, no need to sign up, just drop in.
Strengthening Families Together – a 10-week educational course for the family and friends of someone experiencing mental illness.
